The RSPCA is appealing for information after a dog was found on the main road in Pontlottyn.

The male dog, a Bedlington cross, pictured above, is currently under veterinary care. He was found by a member of the public on Thursday, May 19 at 6.20pm.

RSPCA inspector Simon Evans said: “This dog is quite elderly and is receiving veterinary care.

“We don’t know who his owner is as he doesn’t have a microchip. Anyone with information about this dog, or who he belongs to should contact the RSPCA inspectorate appeal line on 0300 123 8018. Calls are treated in confidence.”
