Rhymney residents are celebrating the unveiling of a new children’s play area in T? Coch, having successfully secured necessary funding.
Pen-y-Dre Tenants and Residents Association received funding from the Welsh Church Fund and Caerphilly County Borough Council, who also donated the play equipment.
Cllr Leon Gardiner opened the new area last month when he was Mayor.
Cllr Carl Cuss, secretary of the residents’ association said: “The amount of children using the facility on a weekly basis clearly demonstrates how much this was needed.”
