Appeal after burglaries in Caerphilly town and Penyrheol

Police are appealing for information after three burglaries and three attempted break-ins across the Caerphilly area.

A garage was broken into on Clive Street, sometime between Friday June 10 and Monday June 13. Hedge trimmers and a chainsaw were stolen. (Log 76 13/06/16).

Just Men Hairdressers on Tonyfelin Road was broken into on Monday June 13, and several pairs of scissors were stolen. (Log 99 13/06/16).

A shed on Mill Road was broken into sometime between Friday June 17 and Saturday June 18. Four mountain bikes, one a white Carrera model, were stolen. (Log 137 18/06/16).

Burglars failed to gain entry to a Ludlow Street garage during an attempted break-in sometime between Wednesday, June 15 and Friday, June 17. (Log 199 17/06/16).

Burglars attempted to break in to a garage on Cae Caradog, Penyrheol between Thursday June 16 and Sunday June 19 (Log 215 19/06/16), and a garage on Caledfryn Way, Penyrheol, between 10.30pm on Friday June 17 and 6am on Saturday June 18 (Log 154 18/06/16). Both failed to gain entry, but garage doors were damaged.

Anyone with information relating to any of the above incidents can call Gwent Police on 101, quoting the relevant log number.
