Pupils at Deri Primary School have used modern technology to tell the history of their village.
The project focused on five different areas of village life from Deri’s past with pupils studying census material and photographs, and interviewing residents.
Their work been transferred to a series of ‘iBeacons’, along the old Deri railway line footpath, which then displays it on the smartphone of passers-by via an app called ‘Locly Sandbox’.
