Trethomas Bluebirds got back to winning ways in the Welsh League Division 3 as they beat Treharris 3-0 at the Bridgefield on Friday October 28.
Both sides struggled to create chances in the early exchanges, but Jeff Griffiths gave Trethomas the lead on 20 minutes with a simple tap in thanks to good work by Curtis Rees.
Trethomas doubled their lead minutes later after a well-worked team goal was finished off by Aaron Colwill.
The second-half saw both sides cancel each other out, with neither goalkeeper tested until the 72nd minute, when a pinpoint Colwill cross was headed in by Griffiths for his second as Treharris appealed in vain for offside.
