Blue badge holders using council pay and display car parks will be able to park for an extra hour for free.
The change comes into effect from today, February 6, and means holders will be able to leave their vehicles for an extra hour from the expiry time shown on their pay and display ticket for no extra charge.
Cabinet Member Cllr Tom Williams welcomed the concession, saying: “We hope this small but significant concession will make our town centres and other public spaces even more accessible for blue badge holders, and I’m sure it will be welcomed by all concerned.”
