The puppets of former Islwyn MP, Neil Kinnock and his wife, used on the popular television show Spitting Image reached over £3,000 when they went to auction last month.
The show’s original figures were put up for auction at Rogers Jones and Co in Cardiff on Saturday February 18, and were sold for £3,4000.
Kinnock, 74, was educated at Lewis School, Pengam, before serving as Islwyn MP between 1970 and 1995, and as the Labour Party leader from 1983 to 1992.
