Woman suffers facial injuries in Caerphilly town assault

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted in Caerphilly.

Officers confirmed that a woman received facial injuries after being assaulted by a man on the lane between Parc y Felin and Dol y Felin, just off Pontygwindy Road in Caerphilly.

The incident occurred at around midnight on Sunday June 18.

Anyone who witnessed the assault or has any information call call 101, quoting log number 173 18/6/17.

    Nowdays we see more crimes being committed than ever, and less police on the street, lets have more money put into the proper police instead of these plastic police.

      The police have become a reactive rather than a proactive service – the lack of a visible presence means they are no longer a deterrent to criminals.

        In my young days you knew the local bobby by name and the local Sargent, now a days I don’t even know their faces
