Pengam’s Unique Hair and Training Academy won the Hair Extensions Specialists of the Year award

A Pengam academy which offers training in hair and beauty courses across the country has been recognised with a national award.

Unique Hair and Training Academy received the Hair Extensions Specialists of the Year award at the The Welsh Hair and Beauty Awards in Cardiff last month.

The academy, which offers training in hair extensions, make-up, waxing and tinting, trumped ten other companies in the category to clinch the award.

Anna Thomas, from Unique, spoke of her delight at the award.

She said: “We didn’t expect the award at all, and it just goes to show that we’re growing in the right direction. We’ve been going for just over a year and have had two award nominations in that time.”
