An 82-year-old care home resident is gearing up to take on the challenge of a charity walk to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Malcolm Brook, a resident at HC-One Abermill Care Home in Abertridwr, has persuaded several members of staff to join him for the walk in Cardiff on September 10.
Abermill Care Home Manager Leah Mort said: “Malcolm never ceases to amaze us with his willingness to remain active and puts most of us to shame with his energy levels.”
