UPDATE: Gwent Police have confirmed that Mr Elworthy was found and has been reunited with his family.
Gwent Police is appealing for information to help find a 78-year-old man from the Caerphilly area.
Mervyn Elworthy was last seen on September 15 at the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport.
He hasn’t been since then and police are concerned for his wellbeing.
Mr Elworthy is described as being short and of medium build. He has grey hair and grey/blue eyes.
