Police are appealing for information after diesel was stolen from a petrol station in Pengam.
At around 8.30pm on Thursday, August 31, a red Proton Gen-2-GLS drove into the petrol station on Pengam Road. Four containers in the boot were filled up with diesel, but no payment was made.
The diesel stolen is valued at around £112.
Police would like to speak to the men, pictured, in relation to the incident.

Time and time again we see these stories on the observer appealing for information from the police. We don’t need Community police officer or council wardens on our streets we need police constables with the legislation to prevent these crimes. The amount of money spent on the CPO and wardens we can could afford a decent police force.
Just to add we are paying three times for policing with constables community officers and wardens and we don’t see any one on the beat walking. Time for a return to old fashion policing

Despite all the hype & gimmicks – the police have lost the war on the streets.
As you say we are paying for police ; community officers and council wardens but none of them are making any impact.
What annoys me is that we are still paying for these services and yet we never see them, unless they are in a car costing us even more money. When will our leaders wake up and see this
It seems that no one is bothered whether or not they do a good job anymore – as long as they get paid at the end of each month.
What happened to taking pride in doing a good job ?
I agree people these take no pride in their job anymore and they only do it for the money, they dont do it for the love of the job. Maybe if we had a contract that paid you for the amonut of work you do.
