Caerphilly Workmen’s Hall will be playing host to a special production this upcoming Halloween as part of its fundraising effort to help restore it.

Spook Factor – billed as a play with music – will be performed by local amateur actors.

The family-friendly production was written especially for the hall by local playwright Phil Carley.

The fictional premise of the show is that Caerphilly Workmen’s Hall is up for sale and a ruthless property developer plans to tear it down and replace it with designer apartments.

But what will happen to its ghostly inhabitants?

Come and cheer on these friendly ghouls as they fight to save their home this Halloween.

Tickets are just £5 each and can be bought from the Visit Caerphilly Centre in the Twyn in Caerphilly town, online at www.caerphillyworkmenshall.org, www.ents24.com and from Ed’s Attic Records. Tickets will also be on the door subject to availability.

Doors open at 6.30pm on Saturday, October 28, for curtain up at 7pm.
