Six gold sovereigns and jewellery stolen in Pontlottyn burglary

Six gold sovereigns and jewellery were taken in a burglary in Pontlottyn.

Police are appealing for information following the break-in at a house in Brynhyfryd.

The burglary happened sometime between 5.30am on Monday, October 2 and 3pm on Wednesday, October 11.

Theives got into the house by smashing the kitchen window and took six gold sovereigns, a 24-carat gold necklace, a 22-carat gold necklace, two gold chain necklaces, a Full Hunter gold pocke twatch attached to an Albert chain and a other items of jewellery.

Anyone with any information can call Gwent Police on 101 quoting log 246 11/10/17.

    And yet another story from Gwent Constabulary appealing for infomation. If the police was out there doing their job instead of drinking tea maybe these burglary would stop.
