Remembrance services to be held across Caerphilly County Borough

Services of Remembrance are to be held across Caerphilly County Borough to honour those who have lost their lives in conflict.

Services will be held on the following dates and locations.

Saturday, November 10, 2018

• Pontywaun School Memorial next to Risca Police Station – 10.30am – service and laying of wreaths.
• Princetown Memorial Bench, Rhymney – 11am – service and laying of wreaths.
• Former site of Pontllanfraith House – 1.30pm – service and laying of wreaths followed by Remembrance Service at St Augustine’s Church, Pontllanfraith, 2pm.
• Deri Memorial Garden – 11am – service and laying of wreaths.

• Oakdale Memorial – 10.40am – Meet at Presbyterian Church. Parade to cenotaph for service and laying of wreaths.
• Moose Hall, Pentwyn Road, Blackwood – 10am – service followed by laying of wreaths at Blackwood Memorial at 10.45am.
• St Thomas’ Church, Cefn Fforest – 10am – service followed by parade to cenotaph for service and laying of wreaths at 11am.
• Maesycwmmer Community Garden, The Crescent – 12.30pm – Service and laying of wreaths.
