A 25-year-old woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a car crash early this morning.
The woman, who was travelling in a green Ford Fiesta and who is from Croespenmaen, was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport.
Gwent Police said there were no other cars involved in the crash which happened on Syr-Dafydd Avenue in Oakdale at around 1.10am on Wednesday, December 27.
