Gwent Police is still looking for 32-year-old Daniel Wynne from Caerphilly, who has been recalled to prison for breaching his licence conditions.
Wynne was released from prison on July 24 of this year and was serving a sentence for wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. Police say he has links to the Lansbury Park area and is described as around 5ft 7in, of heavy build and with brown hair and brown eyes.
Gwent Police, which originally issued its appeal last month, has warned members of the public not to approach him.

In October 2014 Wynne went on the run with a convicted murderer from open prison HMP Leyhill in South Gloucestershire. He was eventually arrested in December of that year.
More failings from the services that are in place to protect us. In order to find this man, the police need to actually be on our streets walking instead of driving around in cars. Sadly we dont see them do this anymore. Thinking back i cant remember the last time i saw a constable on the beat. I would also like to know why this man didnt serve his fall term in prison, if he had a history of going on the run. More failings again.
We seem to be seeing more appeals for information on criminals than we see patrolling police !
It’s a complete joke – they need to go back to basics and patrolling the beat like they used to.
