Caerphilly County Borough Council’s T? Penallta offices will play host to a small exhibition of poetry specially created by pupils of Ysgol Gymraeg Caerffili to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day.

Members of the public are invited to attend the formal ceremony which will take place at 10am on Friday, January 26.

The event will honour the survivors and remember those who have lost their lives.

Deputy council leader Barbara Jones will lead the ceremony where young pupils Alice Todd, Mili Lewis and Daniel Szczuka, all aged ten, will prepare some readings before the lighting of the candle by the Mayor Cllr John Bevan.
