Another successful Aber Valley Carnival was held this year at Senghenydd RFC.
The event, held on Saturday, July 21, started with a procession through the village down to the rugby club where, with the help of organisers Rhys Davies, Joanne Davies, local projects hosted stalls to help raise funds and awareness for their cause.
These included Scouts, mini rugby, junior football, dance groups, local splash park, churches and larger charities such as Tenovus, Cancer Research and Llamau.
The event involved everything from tea tents to fun fair rides and great live entertainment. The day was hailed a huge success by the community and organisers said they simply cant wait to do it all again next year.
