A man has been arrested after authorities deemed the cause of a house fire in Porset Park, Caerphilly to be deliberate.
Firefighters from Whitchurch, Pontypridd and Aberbargoed attended the fire in Porset Park, Caerphilly, at around 3.15pm on Tuesday, August 7.
A spokesman for South Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that nobody was in the property at the time and they handed the investigation over to Gwent Police.
A spokesman from Gwent Police said that a 38-year-old man from the Caerphilly area had been arrested in connection with the arson.
