Man attacked and robbed in Graig-y-Rhacca

A man has been attacked and robbed in Lower Graig-y-Rhacca.

The attack happened at around 8.15pm on Monday, May 20.

The man had not long got off the Stagecoach 50 bus from Caerphilly town centre when he was attacked from behind.

The man suffered a suspected fractured eye socket and had his car keys and house keys stolen.

A 25-year-old man and a 32-year-old man, both from Caerphilly, have been arrested on suspicion of robbery.

They are currently in police custody, while the victim is recovering at home.
