Police have released a 78-year-old man who was arrested following a crash on the A468 on Tuesday, August 27.
The collision happened at around 1.40pm and the road was closed for several hours.
A Gwent Police spokeswoman said a 19-year-old female cyclist was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital with minor injuries and was released Tuesday evening.
A 78-year-old man from the Machen area, arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving without due care and attention, has been released under investigation.
