Children who receive free school meals will continue to be provided with lunch free of charge, Caerphilly County Borough Council has said.
It comes after schools across Wales and the rest of the UK were ordered to close due to the coronavirus outbreak.
From today (March 23) until Friday (March 27), a packed lunch will be available for eligible children and will need to be collected from designated schools.
From Monday, March 30, frozen meals will be provided. The council has said it will announce more information about how the meals will be distributed later this week.
The council urged residents collecting the meals to form an orderly queue and to leave a two-metre gap between themselves and the people around them.
