Pupils and care home residents meet Duchess of Cornwall for poetry event

After the poetry recitals had finished, residents and pupils met the Duchess of Cornwall and enjoyed afternoon tea with her.

Aber Valley Male Voice Choir were joined by musical trio Serin for the anniversary concert at Bedwas Workmen’s Hall.

Jaydee-Lee Dummett, from Fochriw, has won the Child of Courage Award after noticing the gas leak in her house earlier this year.

Jonathan Congreve, 57, has been selected as part of the 65-strong team who will represent the UK in the Netherlands next May.
