Residents are now able to browse books at Nelson Library

Residents are now able to go into more libraries across the borough to browse through books on the shelves.

Last month, book browsing was allowed once again at libraries in Bargoed, Blackwood, Caerphilly, Newbridge, Rhymney, Risca and Ystrad Mynach.

But as of Monday, June 7, residents can now do the same at 11 more libraries across the borough. These are: Aberbargoed; Abercarn; Abertridwr; Bedwas; Deri; Llanbradach; Machen; Nelson; White Rose Information Centre; Oakdale; Pengam.

However, with coronavirus restrictions still in place, residents will have to book in advance if they want to visit a library.
