Glyn Griffiths has been missing since June 20. He was seen that day on CCTV going to Asda in Caerphilly town

Police have renewed their appeal to find missing Caerphilly man Glyn Griffiths, who disappeared almost a month ago.

Mr Griffiths, aged 60, was last seen on the evening of Sunday, June 20. That afternoon between 12 noon and 12.45pm, according to Gwent Police, Mr Griffiths went to Asda on Pontygwindy Road, Caerphilly, and was later recorded on nearby CCTV.

On Saturday, June 26 Gwent Police issued an appeal to find Mr Griffiths’ car – a black Suzuki Grand Vitara, registration X404JRX. The car was later found on Monday, June 28, on a street in Nantgarw.

A police dog unit and a drone were deployed by officers to find Mr Griffiths, but with no luck.

The Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team also helped with a search of countryside around the Nantgarw and Castell Coch area on Tuesday, June 29.

Anyone with information about Mr Griffiths’ whereabouts can call Gwent Police on 101 quoting reference number 2100221975.
