Man reportedly mugged by teens who attacked him with pieces of wood

Police are appealing after a 36-year-old man was reportedly mugged in Caerphilly.

The man was reportedly attacked by two teenage boys, who are said to have attacked him with pieces of wood, as well as stealing his wallet.

The incident is said to have happened on Hartshorn Court, Lansbury Park, sometime between 7am and 10.45am on Monday, July 26.

The first suspect is described as white, around 13-years-old, with short blonde hair and of a slim build. He was wearing a black and white t-shirt at the time.

The second suspect is described as being white, around 15-years-old and of an average build, with short blonde hair. He was wearing a white t-shirt at the time.

After the incident, the victim was helped home by two people in a scrap metal van.

Gwent Police has said enquiries are still ongoing and anyone with information or CCTV or dashcam footage can contact them on 101, quoting log reference 2100262389.
