From next week, residents will no longer need to make an appointment to visit libraries in Caerphilly County Borough.
The change comes in on Monday, November 29.
It will be the first time residents will have been able to go into a library in the borough without having to book in advance since March 2020.

Visitors will be encouraged to wear face coverings, unless exempt, while at the libraries.
Perspex desk screens and barriers to enforce two-metre social distancing will also be in place.
Libraries are also no longer required to quarantine books on their return, but will provide antibacterial wipes and sanitiser to people who want to clean the books before taking them home.
Councillor Ross Whiting, Caerphilly County Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Education, said: “After the tough last 18 months that we have all had during the pandemic, the reopening of all our libraries next week is such welcome news.
“We want to thank you all for your patience during the pandemic and look forward to welcoming existing and new customers to our libraries next Monday. “
