The 100th anniversary of the Royal British Legion is being celebrated in Crosskeys this weekend.
The celebrations are being hosted by the Gwent County Royal British Legion at Waunfawr Park on Saturday, May 14.
There will be music performances by the Royal British Legion Band of Wales and Guitars for Wales, as well as a school choir.
There will also be a parade of standards led by the band and Corps of Drums of the Royal Welsh, with the Beating of the Retreat closing the event, which runs from 2pm to 6pm.
Food and drink will be available at the event, with visitors encouraged to bring a picnic with them.
Entry is free, with any donations donated directly to the Poppy Appeal.
