A new wallaby walk and lorikeet enclosure will be coming to the Meadows Farm Village this summer – joining a host of activities already on offer for the whole family.

At The Meadows, visitors can interact with the creatures up close while enjoying a countryside experience.

As well as the wallabies and lorikeets, the farm also has meerkats, raccoon dogs, emus, reindeer, turkeys, ducks, chickens, peafowl, geese, swans, cows, horses and donkeys.

The Meadows also offers alpaca cuddles, goat walking and reptile encounters – where people can hold and touch snakes, bearded dragons, chameleons and more.

Book today using the code OFFER10 for 10% off the entrance fee. To book, visit pwthemeadows.co.uk or call 07447 365782.

Feeding experiences are also available, giving visitors the chance to feed the animals and learn more about them, while pigs, rabbits, pygmy goats, guinea pigs and micro pigs can be petted by visitors.

The Meadows can also accommodate school trips and other group visits.

While there is a variety of children’s and toddler activities available at the Meadows, the 21-acre farm also welcomes couples and friend groups too – an experience for all the family to enjoy.

Toddler and baby activities are available weekdays term time and offer educational, messy and imaginative play.

An onsite community hub can be booked for events such as parties, arts and crafts sessions and more, while cakes, coffee, meals and alcohol are available at the coffee shop.

Opened by Caerphilly residents Katherine Watkins and her family back in September 2019, the Meadows is family-owned and run by a passionate team of colleagues, with animal welfare a top priority. Animals are rotated to prevent over-petting, while none of the animals will ever be sold to market.

VIP Memberships

An annual membership, which includes unlimited entry over the course of the year is available for £66. For £94.50, members can have unlimited entry, as well as entry to Christmas, Easter and Halloween events, as well as a gift for each occasion.
