Renowned punk poet and spoken word artist John Cooper Clarke is set to bring his unique brand of poetry to Caerphilly Workmen’s Hall on March 24 as part of his I Wanna Be Yours Tour.

The Salford-born wordsmith has been a prominent figure on the punk and post-punk scenes since the late 1970s, earning a reputation for his sharp wit and social commentary. His distinctive, rapid-fire delivery has become a hallmark of his performances, and his influence on the world of poetry and music is still felt today.

With a career spanning over four decades, Cooper Clarke has released several critically acclaimed albums and collections of poetry, including Disguise in Love and Snap, Crackle and Bop. He has also collaborated with a range of musicians, including Joy Division and Arctic Monkeys, and his work has been featured in numerous films and TV shows.

Fans of Cooper Clarke’s unique style will not want to miss this rare opportunity to see him perform in the intimate setting of Caerphilly Workmen’s Hall. With his trademark black suit and shades, and a back catalogue of iconic poems, this promises to be a night to remember.

Tickets for the event are available from www.ents24.com and are sure to sell quickly. Don’t miss your chance to experience one of the most original and influential voices in British poetry and music.
