The Machen Show is set to celebrate its 80th edition this July.
The family-friendly country show, which has been running since 1941, will begin at 8am and finish at 6.30pm on Saturday July 1.
Activities on the day include touch rugby, sheep walking, Icelandic horse displays, children and parent running races and a classic car parade.
In 2022, the show returned for the first time since the Covid pandemic and welcomed a record 4,500 visitors to the field in Machen.
A variety of food and craft stalls will be set up at the show and there will be a number of exhibitions from local organisations and charities.
Dogs will be allowed into the showground, providing they are well behaved and kept on a short lead at all times.
A wide range of food and drink is available, with traders offering choices from burgers, hot dogs, toasted sandwiches and bacon rolls, to crepes, donuts and farmhouse ice creams.
There will also be a bar serving alcohol.
However, visitors are allowed to bring their own food and have a picnic if they wish.
The show will be based at Mill Farm in Machen and will be clearly signposted.
The nearest postcode to the farm is CF83 8SW and there will be free car parking available.
Tickets on the day will cost £8 for an adult, £4 for a child, and £5 for an OAP. More details can be found here.
