An 82-year-old man has died after being found unresponsive in the moat around Caerphilly Castle.
He was found at around 7.50pm on Tuesday July 4.
Gwent Police officers attended along with paramedics from the Welsh Ambulance Service, who confirmed the man had died.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Police say his next of kin has been informed and are being supported by officers.
