Three-year-old Jenson Llewellyn has been left “heartbroken” after his toy Land Rover, worth £3,000, was stolen.

Jenson’s father, Jack Llewellyn, bought the battery powered car from a friend as a Christmas present for his son and daughter, Lacie, who is nine.

Having spent weeks refurbishing the Land Rover Rebel Replica, the family have been left devastated after it was stolen from Pentwynmawr on Monday July 3 at around 8.30pm.

Speaking to Caerphilly Observer, Mr Llewellyn said: “We’re gutted honestly. My son and daughter are very upset and we really want it to be found. They had only ridden it twice.

“I bought it from a friend but the original model was actually used at Dinosaur Park in Milton Keynes. We’ve reported it to the police and have seen sightings of it around the Blackwood area.”

Jenson’s grandfather, Byron Jones, said how his grandson has been left “heartbroken” by the loss and hopes someone will do “the right thing” and return it.

Police can be contacted via direct message on social media, or by calling 101, quoting log reference 2300222328.
