Fochriw Post Office is set to reopen

Fochriw post office is set to reopen under new management this month.

The service will be available 70 hours a week at the previous location of 1 The Grove, Fochriw from July 26.

This comes after the branch closed in April due to the resignation of the previous postmaster.

Santosh Sanudrala, Post Office network provision lead, said: “We are delighted to soon be restoring Post Office services to Fochriw, as we know how important a post office is to a community.”

The branch will officially reopen at 1pm on Wednesday July 26 and thereafter will be open Monday to Saturday from 7am to 6pm and Sundays from 9am to 1pm.
