Police concerned for welfare of missing 17-year-old girl

Kiera Jones, 17, has been reported missing

Gwent Police has launched an appeal to find a missing 17-year-old girl.

Kiera Jones was last seen at around 12.30pm on Friday August 18 near Glyn Terrace, Tredegar – with police concerned for her welfare.

She is believed to have been wearing black cycling shorts, knee-high white boots, a red top and a denim jacket.

Kiera is described as being 5ft2in tall and of medium build, with shoulder-length black hair.

She is said to have links to Caerphilly and Pontypridd.

Anyone with information on Kiera’s whereabouts can contact Gwent Police on 101, or through direct message on social media, quoting reference 2300277836.

Police have also asked Kiera to get in contact with them to confirm she is safe and well.
