A charity car wash will take place at Aberbargoed this weekend

Firefighters will be holding a charity car wash this weekend in Aberbargoed.

On-call firefighters from the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service are set to host the event on Saturday August 26 from 10am to 3pm at the fire station on St Margarets Way.

All funds raised will go towards the Fire Fighters’ Charity and DYT Dance.

The Fire Fighters’ Charity offers lifelong support for members of the UK fire services community and DYT dance school operates in Caerphilly County Borough and aims to give every child “the chance to dance”.

In a post on Twitter, South Wales Fire and Rescue Service wrote: “If you’re in the area, please pop along to show your support.”
