In less than a fortnight’s time, the Tour of Britain will draw to a close in front of Caerphilly Castle.

The eighth and final stage of the competition will see cyclists race from Margam Country Park, near Port Talbot, to the 13th century venue on Sunday September 10.

The cyclists will enter the borough through Nelson, pass through Llanbradach and complete two laps of Caerphilly Mountain, before crossing the finish line in Caerphilly town centre.

The eyes of the world will be on Caerphilly that day, with the event being shown live in more than 150 countries across the globe.

Road closures will be in place during the event.
