Ystrad Mynach boxer Lauren Price MBE will return to the ring this weekend to take on Zambia’s Lolita Muzeya.

The fight will take place in Manchester’s AO Arena on Saturday September 2 as the undercard for the Liam Smith v Chris Eubank Jr rematch.

It will be Price’s first fight since May, when she defeated Kirstie Bavington in a unanimous points victory to become British champion.

Since signing a pro deal with BOXXER last year, Olympic gold medallist Price, 29, has won all four of her bouts.

Ben Shalom, CEO of BOXXER, said: “The achievements of Lauren Price MBE speak for themselves.

“She’s an elite competitor and while some people might think it’s early for her to be talking about professional titles, she’s a world-class talent and she sees no point in waiting around. She will be looking to make a statement in Manchester.”
