A 45-year-old woman has been taken to hospital for treatment following a road traffic collision on Rudry Road, Rudry.

Gwent Police has said the incident occurred at around 12pm on Friday September 8.

The force added: “Officers have attended, along with paramedics from the Welsh Ambulance Service, to assist with traffic management.”

The road remains closed and diversions are in place.
