An exhibition is coming to Bargoed Library to highlight the history of the Jewish communities in South Wales.

Voices and Images of the South Wales Jewish Community will be shown at the library from November 11 to 21.

The exhibition has been put together by the Jewish History Association of South Wales, which preserves and shares the cultural heritage of Jewish communities in the area.

The exhibition will start with a public talk on November 11 at 10am.

A spokesperson for the library service said: “We will be inviting schools to visit the exhibition and the talk with the intent of highlighting the Jewish history of our community.

“We will be taking this as an opportunity to highlight our family and local history resources and our state-of-the-art Digital Fiche Machine.”

Bargoed Library is on Hanbury Road, Bargoed.
