A general outline of the site in Aberbargoed

A Welsh housing developer has plans to bring a mix of private and affordable homes to Aberbargoed in 2024.

A variety of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes are planned to be built by Pontyclun-based property developers Llanmoor Homes.

The site, called Saint Sannans Field, is located off Bedwellty Road.

The plans are in the early stages, as the developer recently bought the land and no proposals have yet been lodged with Caerphilly County Borough Council’s planning department.

A spokesperson for Llanmoor Homes told Caerphilly Observer: “We will be preparing the formal application over the coming months with a view to submission of a Reserved Matters Planning application in Spring 2024.

“We are currently unable to provide specific information as to our proposals, however, we envisage a development of two-, three- and four-bedroom open market housing plus affordable homes.

The spokesperson added: “Any previous master plan proposals submitted by others at the outline planning stage relating to the development will not be representative of our development proposals.”
