Remembrance was marked across Caerphilly County Borough as residents came together to pay tribute to those who have died in conflict.

Services were held at memorials in towns and villages across the borough, with wreaths laid.

In Caerphilly town, the annual parade took place through the town centre and down to the Cenotaph at the Twyn.

Local politicians, dignitaries and representatives from the Royal British Legion and other groups laid wreaths.

Despite the weather, there was a great turnout at Caerphilly for the Remembrance Service this afternoon. There was also a good number at Bargoed this morning. Jayne and I were so pleased to be at both. @PoppyLegion @CaerphillyCBC #LestWeForget pic.twitter.com/vNKkksWBsn
