Free sessions to help people with dementia are available online

People affected by dementia can access free digital training sessions this year.

The ‘Gwent Dementia Friendly Communities Lunch and Learn Sessions’ aim to improve the lives of people with dementia with online resources, tools and devices.

The hour-long meetings run online throughout the year, starting in February – and are arranged by Digital Communities Wales and Gwent Dementia-Friendly Communities

They are open to people living with dementia, carers, friends, professionals, or anyone interested.

Topics covered include reminiscence, online safety, and staying in touch.

Registration is required and can be completed through Aneurin Bevan University Health Board’s website.
