Police are investigating a reported car theft in Caerphilly town.

The incident happened on Clos Maes Brag at around 1.30pm on Saturday January 13.

A 36-year-old woman left her car, a silver Nissan Note, running while putting items into the back – before two men got in and drove off.

They are said to have driven off onto Pontygwindy Road, with the victim receiving minor injuries in the process.

The car was found abandoned a few streets away.

Police are investigating and would like to speak to two men, pictured, who are believed to have been in the area at the time.

Anyone with information, including dashcam or CCTV footage, can contact Gwent Police on 101, quoting log reference 2400014411.

Alternatively, Gwent Police can be contacted through direct message on social media, while Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
