Glyn Griffiths has been missing since June 20, 2021. He was seen that day on CCTV going to Asda in Caerphilly town

Gwent Police has renewed its appeal to find a Caerphilly man who has been missing for two-and-a-half years.

Glyn Griffiths, 62, was last seen in Caerphilly on the evening of Sunday June 20, 2021.

His car was found by police officers close to Heol y Dderwen, Nantgarw, on June 28 that year.

He has been described as being 5ft9in tall, of a slim build, with grey hair.

The police staff investigator in this case, Lana Quick, said the investigation to Mr Griffiths’ disappearance “remains very much active”.

She continued: “This has been an extensive enquiry and unfortunately, we still don’t have the answers we need.

“Any information we receive is recorded and investigated. We’re still keen to receive any information that may assist our enquiries, however minor you may feel it is.

“You can call us on 101, or send us a direct message on social media, quoting 2100221975. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
