A 65-year-old man has been arrested after he was found to be carrying “two air weapons” on Castle Street, Caerphilly.
Gwent Police were called to Castle Street at around 8am on Tuesday January 30, after receiving reports of a man carrying a firearm.
Following a search, the man was found to be carrying two air weapons, which were both seized.
Firearm officers were in attendance, and the 65-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, threats to kill, and malicious communications.
He remains in custody at this time.
