Deri Library has been closed since 2022

Deri Library will reopen in 2024 after being closed for around two years.

The library, on Bailey Street, closed in February 2022 after it was damaged during Storm Eunice.

A makeshift library was set up at Deri Community Centre to ensure library services continued.

A disabled toilet and washroom, requested by the public as part of a community survey, will be installed before the reopening.

While a specific date has not yet been confirmed, Caerphilly Observer understands that it is likely to be spring of this year.
