Police appeal after 53 commercial batteries stolen from business unit

Police are investigating after 53 commercial batteries were reportedly stolen from a business unit on Penallta Industrial Estate.

The batteries, used for CCTV towers, were taken from storage containers at a premises on North Road.

It is said to have happened sometime between 7.20am and 9.35am on Saturday February 24.

Gwent Police has said it would like to speak with three men, pictured on CCTV, who were reportedly in the area around the time.

Anyone with information can contact Gwent Police on 101, or through direct message on social media, quoting log reference 2400065351.
