The body of a man was discovered in the River Ebbw at around 4pm on Wednesday March 27, Gwent Police has announced.

The family of Leigh Parker, who was reported missing on Saturday March 17, have been notified.

Formal identification has yet to take place.

Police said the death is not being treating as suspicious at this time.
